Andreas Boehmer
Manager Addictive Media, User Experience Consultant
Andreas' role at Addictive Media is the project management of user-centered applications. With a background in Communication Studies and User Experience Design, his strength lies in Usability and Accessibility Consulting. Building on what he learns in one-on-one sessions with users, Andreas applies his knowledge to the analysis and planning of interfaces and happily shares his experience with team members and colleagues.
Andreas has been involved in usability design and testing for clients such as RMIT University, NetAlert, ANZ, Sensis, EcoRecycle, Department of Human Services, Department of Justice, and others.
He has spoken at accessibility conferences and taught User Experience Design and Development at universities as well as at certified Macromedia courses.
Andreas holds a Bachelor degree from Victoria University, a Masters in Multimedia from Swinburne University and studied Multimedia Development in his home country Germany. He is a member of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA), the Usability Professionals Association (UPA) and the Information Architecture Institute (IAI).
